Production Scheduler

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

Cooperates with: Production, Accounting, Shipping, Vendors, Sales

Primary Responsibility: Coordinate production schedules and orders for MIRATECH Houston

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
• Coordinate with production managers, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders to prioritize production activities and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor and track production progress, identifying any delays or bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to the production team and other departments in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production metrics.
• Generate reports and documentation related to production scheduling and performance as needed.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to schedule new orders
• Assist with inventory management and forecasting activities as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Good math skills.
• Working knowledge of Syspro ERP software desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
