What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resort Service Bartender position at Mirbeau Inn & Spa?
The Mirbeau Inn & Spa is seeking experienced Bartenders to join our team of exceptional employees! Mirbeau believes that our employees are our most valuable asset. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure accurate measures of liquor, wines, and mixed drinks are poured and served to guest in a friendly manner
- Assist guests in obtaining other food items and services as requested
- Set up bar station and ensure it is properly stocked prior to opening (glasses, napkins, garnishes, alcohol)
- Abide by the Mirbeau policies and procedures of the resort and local Alcohol Beverage Laws
- Check IDs when serving alcoholic beverages
- Maintain current knowledge of beverage pricing and do suggestive selling of house specialty drinks and wines to guests
- Report to work in a clean uniform with nametag at scheduled time
- Maintain par stock levels of liquor and wines both on the bar shelf and stockroom and assist Director of F&B with weekly ordering and recommendations
- Participate in month end beverage inventories and keep control on established beverage costs
- Keep record of all in house beverage transfers and submit to Accounting Department
- Any voids for drinks or spoilage report to be brought to the attention of Director of F&B for approval
- Participate in any other job related duties assigned by Director of F&B
Position requires complete knowledge of all alcoholic beverages, wines, beers, and bar equipment. A good personality and ability to work under pressure necessary during peak hours of operation while providing exemplary service to Mirbeau guests with quality drinks as per company standards necessary.
