Group/Class: Group III, IV/Hourly, Non-exempt
Reports to: Retail Manager
Pay Range: $16.28-$17.34
Status: Full or part-time, seasonal

JOB SUMMARY:
Provide guest with exceptional service in our retail department.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:

Accurately handling of cash, credit or debit transactions

The sale of items to all guests with the use of POS software called Entabeni
-
Ability to learn about retail items and suggest the best product for the guest

Ability to fold clothing items and reset product on shelves

Ability to proactively greet guests and interact with them confidently

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Must be able to work unsupervised as times

Ability to follow opening and closing procedures for the point-of-sale system.

Show initiative and follow through on all routing and special work assignments.

Maintain a calm demeanor during times of high stress

Be a competent and willing team player

Ensuring the guest service experience is consistent with Mission Ridge standards
SKILLS REQUIRED:

The ability to communicate with guests and co-workers in an effective manner is necessary.

This position requires extensive contact with guests.

A friendly attitude and the ability to always wear a smile is needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or a GED desired.
-
At least one year of guest service experience or similar experience is preferred
-
Six months to one year experience with Windows and Google Suite based software is preferred.

At least one year of cash handling experience is preferred.

Ten-key ability by touch is preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
RARELY ( 0 - 12%) FREQUENTLY (34 - 66%)
OCCASIONALLY (12 - 33%) REGULARLY (67-100%)
Seeing: REGULARY Must be able to read.
Hearing: REGULARY Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers.
Standing/Walking: REGULARY
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: FREQUENTLY
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: FREQUENTLY Lift up to 25lbs.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: REGULARLY Must be able to write, type, and use phone system.
