Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Key Responsibilities
Under general supervision of a senior level project manager, provide support on one or more small projects (Establish and manage small teams (Maintain and effectively lead the project team. Participate in all aspects of the project(s) over the entire lifecycle (initiation, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing). Use MSTS project management processes, techniques, and tools. Creating presentations for high level review upon request. Ensure projects stay on track, meeting deadlines and budgets. Coordinate work efforts through interaction with peers, project leaders, supervisor, and vendors. Evaluate alternatives and identify solutions using systematic, multi-step approaches. Facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts within the project team and with stakeholders. .

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent training and experience and 2 years' related professional experience. Previous project management experience and responsibilities should include Managing small projects (<$5M TPC) and project teams (<10 people) through representative project lifecycle phases;Defining, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and successfully completing discrete elements of scope in compliance with defined schedule, costs, risk, and quality constraints; Maintaining satisfaction of stakeholders with differing needs and expectations; Managing communications between project stakeholders and team members; Identifying and complying with project requirements in development pf products and deliverables; Managing the project team in successfully achieving project scope, schedule, and cost objectives. Ability to evaluates alternatives and identify solutions using systematic, multi-step approaches. Ability to facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts within the project team and with stakeholders. Ability to established trust among team members. Ability to build and use cross-functional relationships to accomplish tasks. Ability to establish and manage small teams (Ability to maintain and effectively lead the project team. Ability to achieve customer satisfaction. Initiative to seek advice from more senior project managers. Ability to demonstrate effective decision-making skills, including knowledge of how and when to escalate issues to higher levels. Ability to analyze the risks and future impact of decisions. Work will be conducted remotely. Some work at our Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada is required in support of these functions. Work schedule will be 4/10s Monday through Thursday (subject to change). Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’

Annual salary range for this position is $73,424.00 - $110,136.00.
Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
