Essential Functions
- Prepare damage estimates and/or appraisals on automobiles within assigned territory and issue payment as
- Reinspect damaged vehicles for appropriate repairs and process supplements to a conclusion.
- Travel to various counties in the state for the purpose of estimating and/or appraising damage to automobiles
- Assist in setting up and operating a drive-in claims service when needed following a catastrophe situation
- Assist in the training of the field adjusters in areas of physical damage.
- Decide time and labor for auto repair.
- Decide if parts repairable or if must be replaced.
- Decide if vehicles repairable or are a total loss.
Education
Required- High School or better
