As a Registered Nurse in our Orthopedic Surgery Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal care and comfort of our patients. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for surgery by assessing both their physical and emotional well-being, setting the stage for a successful procedure. During the post-operative phase, you will closely monitor the recovery process, ensuring that patients are stable and comfortable, and preparing them for discharge when they are ready. Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our patients' positive surgical experience and recovery journey.
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a range of essential skills. Proficiency in IV starts, airway monitoring, and general nursing skills is crucial for providing top-quality patient care. Candidates must also have graduated from an accredited nursing program with either a Bachelors or Associates of Nursing Degree, along with holding a valid Montana RN License.
Additionally, certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, exceptional communication skills, and a strong attention to detail are also key attributes essential for success in this role.
