Job Description:
What would you do? The specifics:
● Greet everyone who enters the building with a professional, courteous demeanor in a timely manner
● Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls
● Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
● Provide basic and accurate information in person and via phone
● Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries
● Effectively communicate with all staff between all seven office locations
● Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
● Manage the flow of traffic within the office
● Check-in and check-out patients
● Collect patient co-pays
● Apply payments
● Understand and verify patient insurance through eligibility and benefits
● Create patient flow sheets
● Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, and transcribing.
● Remain HIPPA Compliant
