Responsibilities and Duties

HOW DOES AN AGENT SPEND THEIR DAY? – Every day is something different.

- Selling Missouri Farm Bureau Insurance products to help customers protect what’s important to them

- Meeting client needs by recommending necessary coverages

- Educating insurance consumers so they understand the value of our products

- Connecting to the community to establish yourself as a valuable risk management resource

- Networking with existing clients, community leaders and business owners to generate referrals

- Providing outstanding service and support to all customers

- Creating executive business plans with strategies and tactics to grow your agency

- Exceeding productivity goals to maximize earnings while maintaining a realistic work/life balance

- Branding yourself in your community as the leading insurance professional

Qualifications and Skills

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? – Qualifications & Requirements.

Required:

-Missouri Life & Health Insurance Producer’s License*

-Missouri Property & Casualty Insurance Producer’s License*

*NOTE: Insurance licenses are not required to apply but ability to obtain license is required before start date -Valid Driver’s License

Education / Experience:

-Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required

-Equivalent employment history or work experience may be substituted for education

-Former insurance, sales, customer service, finance or business management experience may be helpful but not necessary

-Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged to apply
