Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Must be able to teach Botany, Dendrology, and Plant Taxonomy. Teaching entry level courses like Principles of Biology, and non-laboratory courses such as Environmental Science, is also expected.
- Faculty members are responsible for curriculum, teaching, service, scholarship, and related administrative activities that support the mission, values, and goals of the college.
- Master’s degree in Botany, Plant Sciences, Plant Physiology, or related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Biology required.
- Ph.D. in Botany or related field is preferred.
- College-level teaching experience preferred.
