Principal Developer Analyst

We’re currently seeking a Principal Developer Analyst to join our Headquarters team!   LOCATION: Tucson or Phoenix preferred; Hybrid possible in those two locations.    Position Summary:    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the application planning, architecting, and development processes. Your knowledge and expertise in these areas will be essential in ensuring the uniformity and software engineering discipline across various stages of application development. You will collaborate with on-premises and offshore resources to manage and implement applications. Strong leadership skills and extensive experience in application management and implementation are key for success in this position.   This is a hybrid role with an estimated 30% actual coding and 70% overseeing both internal and vendor software development teams. We build internal custom integrations within our AWS tech stack when needed but do have several applications built by vendors which we support. What You Will Do: Collaborate with internal and external data engineers, developers, and software architects to create technical specifications for application development. Plan and manage the different stages of application development and oversee application deployment and integration. Consult with business units on effective approaches to interface and integrate technology systems. Document technical environment and deployment methodologies to enable integrated solutions. Ensure consistency in IT systems infrastructure to facilitate effective application integration. How You Will Shine:  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience. 9 years of experience in building and developing enterprise IT systems and applications. 9 years of experience in systems and business analysis, technology project management, and application architectures using cloud technologies. 5 years of leadership, mentoring, and team-building experience in software development. Experience working collaboratively setting direction and making decisions in a fast-paced and growing organization Display a strong passion for technology and a commitment to staying up to date with industry trends.
