FINANCE ASSOCIATE, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to provide crucial operational support to J-PAL’s growing organizational and financial management capabilities. Will handle non-complex financial aspects of grant management such as submitting invoices, submitting travel reimbursement reports in Concur, processing deliverables and no cost extension requests, and establishing awards. May also assist with sub-award closeouts; process honorariums and board payments; and respond to and resolve general reimbursement and purchasing inquiries (referring more complex questions to senior staff).
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent and at least two years of experience in accounting or finance. Must be able to utilize verbal and written communication skills to effectively deliver a message particular to an audience and meet relevant goals, using clear, concise, and appropriate language; handle several different projects/tasks at one time, successfully complete tasks assigned, and meet deadlines; and self-manage workflow while maintaining high-quality output and accuracy with details. PREFERRED: bachelor’s degree; comfort learning computer applications, including Salesforce; and professional experience working with Salesforce, SAP, and Google Workspace. Job #22316-4
