Summary The Software Quality Analyst is responsible for testing complex Structural Engineering, CAD, visualization, manufacturing, Engineered Services or Business Management software. This role will design, create, document, and execute complex software test cases in a manual method. The work also includes verification of bug fixes and enhancements, researching bug reports, verification of software requirements, and providing technical support. The Software Quality Analyst is an active and critical member of an Agile Development team within the software development process and is a part of the decision-making group to assess risk of various projects alongside Software Developers and Product Managers. Job Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities: Act as a critical part of the decision-making group to assess risk of certain projects to determine appropriate timing and placement of development effort Collaborate and contribute with Software Product Management and other Software Development teams on software requirements to ensure that solutions are efficient, consistent, and fulfill business needs Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Associate Software Quality Analysts along with additional responsibilities within SQA team and opportunities to lead team meetings Complete functional and regression testing of existing features and functionality for each new software release Work in an Agile software development environment, participating in commitment meetings, retrospectives, and planning meetings Research bug reports from various stakeholders and provide Technical Support Attendance during regular work hours and overtime as required Work across various global time zones as needed Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Engineering Science, Aerospace, or related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience 1 years of experience working in architecture, structural engineering, civil engineering or equivalent experience requiring the application of engineering principles and knowledge required Strong technical skills and grasp of engineering fundamentals required General knowledge of building and construction Ability to effectively present information and professionally respond to questions Excellent planning and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication Experience with Microsoft Office suite Strong analytical and problem solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a Detailer, Design Engineer or Engineer of Record (EOR) highly preferred Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp or other drafting software highly preferred Knowledge of or familiarity with 3D modeling and/or construction software highly preferred Experience with Robot Framework and/or Test Complete preferred Familiarity with software development environments like C# or JavaScript Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment MiTek Perks: Flexible Paid Time Off - take as much time off as you need!
