What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Managers position at Mithun?
Mithun is looking for highly collaborative, creative and multi-faceted Project Managers with 10 years of experience to join our team. Bring your leadership with high design sensitivity in diverse typologies such as complex urban multi-family, workplace, institutional and education focused projects. Your holistic thinking will promote an interdisciplinary approach to achieve health positive, vibrant, ecologically sound and equitable design solutions for places where people live, work and learn. Top candidates will have expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Multi-Family Housing: Understand market forces in the urban housing environment with the ability to create success for developers, stakeholders, jurisdictional entities, users and the environment. You lead complex and sustainable projects – primarily urban, transit-oriented, mixed-use featuring affordable and/or market rate multi-family housing. Familiarity with either Type V over Type I construction or Type I construction is required.
- High-Rise Mixed-Use: Experience with high-rise design, high-rise construction methodologies and high-rise building codes.
- Creative Workplace: Expertise working with high-tech clients on innovative, experiential office and workplace design solutions.
- Mass Timber: Experience working with Mass Timber construction. Familiarity with modular construction is also desirable ranging from volumetric, flat pack, post and panel and panel prefabrication systems.
Additional qualifications include architectural registration, excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task, effective team leadership through communication, listening, and mentorship, ability to lead projects through all phases of design, ability to build engaging client relationships, manage consultant teams, and take responsibility for fee, budget, staffing and billings. Proficiency in Revit and InDesign is preferred.
