We are looking for somebody who enjoys being out of the officenetworking meeting new people leading a team and helping people andbusinesses in need.

The associate manages all phases ofjob costing maintaining all accounting computer and financial records.

Responsibilities :

• Manages all phases ofthe job costing function in accordancewith the Operations Manual .
• Uses independent judgmentand discretion in the issuance or rejection ofpurchase orders . Exercises discretion in prioritizing payables for payment .
• Ensures the correctness of all detailed records of work in progressfiles for the owner / general manager and associates .
• Prepares special cost reports statements and analysis of costs .
• Reviews computer variance reports verifies that job costs andproduction costs were appropriately applied . Researches excessive variances and makes corrections or directs other employees to do so. .
• Plans the work priorities and oversees alladministrative functions of the office .
• Maintains and reconciles the checking account with the bank statements and prepares bank deposits . Prepares checks for all employees vendors andtradespeople .
• Prepares all correspondencefrom the owner / general manager associates and composesletters as needed .
• Manages and maintains allfiling systems for the owner / general manager and office .
• Reports monthly sales to the Franchisor andresearches questions as needed .
• Opens and distributes mail in a timely manner ( owner discretionary item ) .
• Secure atleast new accounts peryear . ( optional )
• Maintains good customer relations to detectand resolve issues and concerns .
• Participate in the collectionprocess .

Qualifications :

• Previousexperience in accounting finance or other relatedfields
• QuickBooksexperience isrequired
• Experiencein the construction industry is a plus
• Strongorganizationalskills
• Deadlineanddetailoriented
• Processa high volume of invoices and vendor payments perweek.
• Experiencewith Microsoft Office including Word Excel andOutlook
