Director of Housekeeping

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Train and supervise housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards
- Coordinate with other departments to address any housekeeping needs or concerns
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering as needed
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management

Requirements:
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role
- Knowledge of custodial and industrial cleaning practices and techniques
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling, inventory management, etc.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- **every other weekend will be required for managing cleanings and cleaners (you will get two days off during the week on the weeks you work weekend***
