Mix-Ins Associate

Mix-Ins is a vibrant and dynamic ice cream shop that takes the joy of ice cream to a whole new level. With our unique concept of offering 30 delectable Fix-ins, including candies, cereals, and nuts, guests have the freedom to create their own customized ice cream masterpieces into a cup, bowl, Sugar Cone, or Waffle Cone with Fix-ins of their choice. For chocolate lovers you have the option of Dipped Chocolate Waffle Cones, Dipped Chocolate Waffle Bowls, or Dipped Sugar Cones. All Ice Cream and Waffle Cones are made in-house. Feeling parched? Guests may also opt for their choice of a smoothie, coffee, or water.

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic individual, who is passionate about ice cream to join our team. Come and be a part of our first brick and mortar location as a Part-Time Mix-Ins Associate.

· Greet and assist guests in a friendly and welcoming manner

· Guide guests through the selection of ice cream flavors and Fix-ins

· Ensure a positive and memorable guest experience

· Expertly scoop and serve ice cream combinations using a variety of candies and cereals into a cup or waffle cone, based on guest wants

· Pay attention to detail to deliver aesthetically pleasing and delicious treats

· Maintain cleanliness and organization at the serving areas, preparation stations, and dining area throughout the shift

· Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in handling ice cream and toppings according to Mix-Ins procedures and guidance regarding Organizational Health and Safety and Food safe guidelines

· Accurately process customer transactions using the Toast point-of-sale system for Cash, Credit/Debit payments

· Monitor and restock ice cream flavors, the variety of cones, and Fix-ins as needed

· Report any inventory shortages or issues to the supervisor

· Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations

· Previous experience in customer service or food service a plus

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on feet for hours at a time

· Able to lift heavy objects (50lbs)

· Work in hot or cold environments (i.e. help restock freezers)

· Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

· Basic math skills for cash handling

· Part-time hours available up to 25 hours per week

· No experience needed

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
