What are the responsibilities and job description for the Liquor Store Sales Associate position at Mix Liquors?
Overview:
We are looking for someone friendly, honest, reliable, and punctual who may work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Duties:
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service (We pride ourselves on providing an outstanding and friendly customer service experience— this will always be the most important part of our job)
- Assist customers in selecting products that best meet their needs
- Check ID's
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe environment
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge
- Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers
- Maintain displays: Stocking, facing, fronting and cleaning
- Be friendly and welcoming to all customers and work to maintain and develop relationships with regulars
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 and older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be flexible with hours and able to work on Holidays
- Must put on a big smile when greeting customers (We must give our customers the same service we would want!)
