Overview
As Product Marketing Manager, you'll lead the creation and delivery of our product and platform positioning, developing effective go-to-market strategies helping to scale the Mixbook brand. You'll leverage user insights and quantitative research combined with strategic thinking to drive adoption and engagement of new and existing products, ensuring Mixbook creates a customer-obsessed product experience. You will report to the Director of Brand Marketing and work cross-functionally with product and marketing teams.
Location
This is a US-based remote position. Although Mixbook is fully remote we would prefer this person to be able to work on EST.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with product managers to define key value props, positioning & messaging of new products and features
- Research and Insights: competitor, consumer, market insights to inform strategy
- Create, lead, and manage go-to-market strategies, including execution for product and feature launches
- Help drive customer acquisition, engagement, and product adoption GTM initiatives across all channels
- Manage strategic initiatives to drive adoption and retention, driving more value out of our platform
- Develop a deep understanding of the Mixbook customer through qualitative and quantitative research and understand customer pain points, use cases, and preferences
- Create thoughtful messaging and narratives that inspire customers and drive adoption of new products and features
- Own the market competitive assessments to shape positioning and product marketing strategies
What You'll Need
- 8 years of overall work experience with at least 6 years working in product marketing in DTC, consumer platform or consumer goods industries
- Strong experience collaborating with product managers and marketing teams
- Proven success in strategy development: positioning and messaging of new and existing products and features
- Strong ability to break down complex concepts into clear, simple "human speak"
- Highly collaborative with the ability to manage multiple projects cross-functionally
- Insatiable love for writing and an exceptional eye for detail and consistency
- Must be able to work autonomously - taking ownership of your workload and managing several projects at one time
- A creative aptitude, appreciation, and the ability to develop a strong understanding of the Mixbook brand
