What are the responsibilities and job description for the Robotics Mechatronics Technician position at Mj3 Partners, Inc.?
The Robotics Mechatronics Technician role is to participate in automation design concepts, support the assembly of new automation cells and support the launch of these cells into our existing manufacturing operations, repair and maintain the robotic and vision inspection systems/devices to ensure optimum equipment/system uptime.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates must have the ability to perform the following duties.
· Multitasking with good organizational skills
· Worked with an automation and manufacturing team in the construction of automation equipment
· Robotic and mechanical troubleshooting
· Work closely with project managers and engineers to meet project timelines and availability of new automation cells during the project launch
· Assist personnel during equipment installations and start-up
· Implement modifications and process improvements of automation machines
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Two or more years’ experience in pneumatics, programable logic controllers, HMI’s, robotics and electrical system and motor controls diagnostics skills
· Knowledge of electrical wiring
· Experience in tool & die making is a plus
· Measure and check close tolerance and fine tuning experience.
· Strong mathematic and analytical skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Be able to read and interpret prints and technical writing
· Ability to work in a team environment and train production technicians’ during automation system launches
· Support automation engineers in the development of maintenance plans and spare parts inventory for critical processes
· Time management
