Job brief:

We are looking for a e-Comm. Manager to be a part of our growing business. You will act as the liaison between our Marketing, Channel, Operations, Contract Management, IT, and Sales teams.

You will work closely with the Business Development Manager, Channel Manager, Marketing Manager, IT Manager, and Sales and Operations teams. Your role will be to growing new markets by seeking new business opportunities mainly with potential customers and existing ones via MJL’s e-Commerce platform.

We are looking for a highly coordinated e-Comm. Manager to oversee the development, utilization, and growth of our company's income-generating e-Comm sites. The e-Comm Manager will be required to conduct research on effective website layouts and features, advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting standardized metrics.

To ensure success as an e-Comm. Manager, you should remain knowledgeable about relevant trends and innovations in e-commerce. Ultimately, a brilliant e-Commerce Manager will endeavor to enhance their skill set by continually learning about adjacent techniques that might improve collaboration between departments and, above all, to boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure revenue generation and growth according to company goals
  • Find and implement new ways to grow MJL e-Comm platforms
  • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, testing and reporting
  • Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to improve website performance
  • Work with IT to improve website speed
  • Work with the marketing team to improve quality and traffic acquisition

Re-Platforming website to make it mobile capable

  • Research the market to discover new trends and technologies to improve website performance
  • Analyze various data to deliver data-driven strategies to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs
  • Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing, and social media
  • Develop a content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing pages development
  • Report on performance

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of government contracting, government e-Comm sites (e.g., GSA Advantage, FedMall, etc.) and commercial e-Comm platforms (preferably SANA)
  • Experience developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies
  • Excellent understanding of web design and web analysis
  • Strong marketing and tech background
  • Understanding and experience in, UX, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media Display, and affiliate marketing channels
  • Knowledge of website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis and reporting tools
  • Minimum 5 years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in Government Contracting
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., SAP Business One preferred)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • BBA degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1.00 per year
