Controller

Reporting to CFO and CEO

• Monitor and manage all day-to-day finance functions
• Proficient with percentage of completion accounting
• Understand cost accounting
• Provide timely management reports (analysis of labor hours and bill of materials)
• Monthly, quarterly & annual financial statement preparation and reporting with emphasis on timely and accurate reporting
• Maintain fixed assets & capital expenditures and expenses
• Manage A/R
• Manage A/P
• Monitor payroll operations & procedures
• Monitor & manage employee benefits
• Assist with renewal & audit of commercial, umbrella liability and workers compensation insurance packages
• Maintain financial security by establishing best practices with internal controls
• Manage available state grant and incentive programs
• QuickBooks experience

Candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills and be able to perform under pressure. Good analytical and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks with a sense of urgency. Communicate tasks and goals with management and fellow workers. Solid background and experience with accounting functions and systems including manufacturing and cost accounting. Fundamental computer systems skills and exceptional problem-solving skills. Cooperate; be positive, creative and accountable. Follow projects through to completion.

Manufacturing experience is a must with boat building experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
