Requirements/Qualifications
- Safely operate all heavy equipment (excavators, backhoes, trenchers, dozers, cable plows, etc.)
- Complete pre-operational checks on equipment, and clean, lubricate and refill the equipment as necessary.
- Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment used in general construction excavation and backfill.
- Perform fine grading and finishing, sloping and banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating and stockpiling using various pieces of equipment
- Successfully maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed
- 5+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment operation
- Able to travel and work on jobsites throughout the state of Illinois
- Must possess a valid clean driver’s license. Valid Class C CDL with documented past experience is preferred
- Experience in Solar/Electrical work heavily preferred
