OVERVIEW & QUALIFICATIONS 

Michael Kinder and Sons, a fourth-generation family-owned Design-Build Construction Firm is seeking Marketing Director with a minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing and communications. This highly motivated team member will contribute to a growing organization by providing unparalleled customer service and maintaining accurate and dependable job management. Excellent writing, organizational and computer skills (MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and Adobe Suite Programs) required. Successful candidate will be comfortable working independently and with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced office environment.

 

The Marketing Director serves to support the Michael Kinder and Sons (MKS) team through the positive efforts with MKS marketing, positioning, and image. Also, the Marketing Director will provide awareness in the community as to the superior service MKS provides in the design and construction marketplace.  

 

This position is responsible for any of the following duties which include but may not be limited to:

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Presentations | Work collaboratively with Executive Management and Business Development to develop client proposals, presentations, and qualification packages
  • Photos | Schedule, take (Nikon D850 or similar camera experience is a plus), edit, and archive photos of projects from beginning to completion, as well as special company events
  • Research | Assist BD/Executive Management team with market research and the development and execution & tracking of marketing campaigns
  • Signage | Design, order, and secure signage request for the MKS team (leadership, operations, etc.)
  • Ceremonies | Working alongside the MKS team and clients to provide resources and guidance for planning and executing all groundbreaking, topping out, and ribbon cutting ceremonies
  • Branding | To make sure that all MKS is following the approved and desired branding from logos, letterhead, signage, apparel, etc.
  • Swag Items | Managing the design, order, and distribution of the apparel and all MKS branded swag
  • Advertising | Design and qualify MKS adverting and new opportunities such as, print ads, articles, web, etc.
  • Website Updates & SEO Management | Keep website content up to date (links, photos, blogs, etc.), input new projects as they are completed, continually review analytics on a monthly basis.
  • Social Media Management | Create content for posts and social media campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Develop Project Case Studies | Develop and write a project case study that reflects the success of a project and how MKS helped the client solve a problem. Post on website and other online platforms
  • Develop and Distribute Company Newsletter | Quarterly newsletter for both internal office and field staff, as well as external for our clients. Develop content that informs and entertains our internal staff, as well as our external audience.
  • Company Event Coordination | Work with Human Resource Director and Culture Team to plan, organize, and market company events such as, Christmas party, fall picnic, etc.
  • Job Site Camera Management | Work with camera hosting company (iBeam) and Project managers to install live cameras on the proper jobsites for tracking and marketing purposes. Utilize footage for marketing and Owner updates.
  • Job Site Drone Management | Coordinate drone footage and photos with drone partner to track proper projects during significant times of construction. Use for marketing and Owner updates.
  • Press and Media Releases | Writing and sending press and media releases for appropriate projects, events, etc.  Contacting media outlets for press

QUALIFICATIONS | Listed below are the Minimum Requirements for this position.

  • Minimum Education | Bachelor Degree in Marketing and Communications or similar
  • Minimum Working Experience | 5 years in the marketing industry
