Director of Nursing - Emergency Room

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care in the Emergency Room
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team
- Ensure adequate staffing and resources to meet patient needs
- Foster a collaborative and supportive culture among the nursing staff
- Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met
- Collaborate with hospital executives to set and achieve departmental goals
- Stay current with industry trends and implement best practices in emergency nursing
- Oversee performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to nursing staff
- Promote a safe and efficient work environment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred)
- Current RN license in NJ
- Minimum 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in an emergency room setting
- Strong knowledge of emergency nursing best practices and standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of nursing professionals
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives
