Nursing Manager - Med Surg RN Manager
Location: Macon, GA (south of Atlanta, GA)
salary up to 90k based on experience with a sign-on bonus with a 1-year commitment.
McCall and Lee Healthcare have been asked to search for an RN Manager for their client's Medical-Surgical department in Macon, GA.
Summary/Objective:
The Nursing Manager is responsible for directing the delivery of nursing services on the Medical-Surgical Floor in the facility. Works with general methods and procedures and exercises independent judgment to adapt and apply the guidelines to specific situations. The work requires knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations of nursing programs, supervisor techniques, personnel policies, and procedures. Collaborates with other departments, medical professionals, consultants, and organizations, to develop, support, and coordinate patient care within the medical-surgical department.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of GA or Compact License
- Preferred: at least two year's clinical experience, medical, surgical, or critical care.
- Complies with accepted professional standards and principles.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligations.
- Has excellent observation, good clinical judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Acts as a liaison between patient/family and healthcare personnel to ensure necessary care are provided promptly and effectively.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
