MM Packaging US is a leading pharmaceutical folding carton manufacturing company specializing in producing high-quality packaging solutions for various industries. We are committed to delivering exceptional products to our clients while upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our team at the Charlotte, NC facility and oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance in our folding carton manufacturing process. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the required standards of excellence and compliance with industry regulations.

Your Role

As the Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure consistent production of high-quality folding cartons.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes and finished products to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
3. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of defects.
4. Analyze quality data and metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Train and educate production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to maintain a culture of quality consciousness.
6. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of raw materials and components used in the manufacturing process.
7. Manage the quality assurance team and oversee their daily activities, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and training.
8. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and customer complaints.
9. Develop relationships with key customer’s Quality teams and collaborate with them on any quality issues.
10. Develop and maintain documentation related to quality processes, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
11. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality management and incorporate relevant changes into the company's quality systems.

Your Profile

Your qualifications include:

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
2. Proven experience (5 years) in quality management roles within the manufacturing industry, preferably in folding carton manufacturing or related packaging industries.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies, such as ISO 9001, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Lean Manufacturing.
4. Experience in implementing and managing quality management systems (QMS) and familiarity with document control and quality documentation practices.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive process improvements.
6. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in quality inspections and documentation.
8. Proficiency in using quality management software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
