Pay Rate- $69.59/ hr.

Summary
- Assists the project management teams by developing, monitoring, and updating estimates and/or an integrated project plan so that the project may be executed most efficiently. Provides expertise and develops methods and techniques, standards, processes, procedures, guidelines, and templates, for the Project Controls organization, to support efficient development, management, and control of project estimating/scheduling. Coaches, mentors, trains, and provides oversight of project estimators in estimating/ tools, techniques, and processes. This is an individual contributor job.
Key Accountabilities
- Supports the project teams and estimating/scheduling personnel efforts towards the development of the project plan and translating that project plan into the project cost-loaded schedules.
- Leads, develops, and provides analysis of project estimates Ensures the credibility of the information contained in the Project cost loaded schedules.
- Assists with the preparation of project time and/or cost claims.
- Oversees the development and recording of the project's historical estimate information
- Work with the Project Manager and or IT delivery lead to monitor and update the cost forecast sheet for upcoming spends
- Analyze Estimate at completion (EAC) to initial project estimates and capture lessons learned
- Provides expertise to develop methodologies, techniques and tools, software, standards, and guidelines for estimating; expert knowledge in the application of estimating software and application of the software.
- Provides direct support and expertise to project personnel and estimators regarding estimating and/or planning.
- Ensures that required project estimating and/or planning controls are appropriately implemented and maintained.
- Provides continuous improvement of the Project Controls organization through benchmarking and maintaining affiliations with industry estimating organizations and local/national chapters.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Business Administration, or a related field and the knowledge and experience generally acquired through 7-plus years of job-relevant experience
- Estimator: 4 years of engineering experience/background in estimating on large construction projects in the energy domain preferably renewables (Solar, Wind, etc.)
- Electrical Work (Substations, OH, and UG) and some Civil Engineering Background
- Estimating all project costs (i.e., engineering, design, project management, construction, commissioning, etc.)
- Familiarity with intermediate-level experience using On-screen take, and any other estimating software
