The Training Specialist position is designed to support our Building Products verticals preparation, development, and delivery of our companies four training pillars: MMC, Industry, Account, and Sales. The training Specialist will be responsible for the development and delivery of training courses across our companies building products employees. The ideal candidate would possess a passion and skill set for learning, teaching, and preparing training with knowledge of the building products industry to develop strong, meaningful relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:
The activities which the person will be directly held accountable for include:
- The Sales Floor Trainer is responsible for developing and conducting training, across the sales floor, including but not limited to the following topics:
- Five9 Training
- Salesforce Training
- Building Products (High Level Overview of Industry)
- Sales Training
- Account Training
- Also, the Sales Floor Trainer will be responsible for developing and coordinating the on-boarding experience
- Develop and coordinate On-boarding Experience with Sales Managers
- Daily Check in with On-boarding reps
- Account, Industry & System Training Development (Initial & Ongoing).
- Continuing education.
- Industry Terminology and Environment.

Complies with all Company policies and procedures as well as Federal, State, and local regulations

Must maintain and keep the confidentiality of all customers, client and company information in accordance with the confidentiality agreement signed at the commencement of employment with MMC.

Position requires exercise of discretion and independent judgment while performing work duties relative to the sales floor operations as a Sales Trainer.

Required Education/Experience:
- BS/BA degree (Education, Business, Communications, or related fields preferred) or commensurate experience
- At least one year experience developing and facilitating training for an inside sales organization
