Our technology team develops and maintains immersive, scalable web applications, APIs and data warehouses in an environment where the data is our most important asset.

We’re currently working on web scraping and natural language processing projects to maintain accurate information about pharmacy and medical benefits in today’s rapidly changing healthcare market.

Job Description

As a Chief Architect at MMIT, you will serve as the lead architect and expert for big data platform architecture and business solutions. You will deal with complex, interrelated applications and systems requiring modern big data platforms, and will work with rapidly evolving technology-based solutions and teams.  You will work closely with internal stakeholders to analyze and define unique and innovative solutions for achieving strategic business goals.

To succeed in this new position, you will:

·       Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to come up with technical solutions to our complex problems

·       Contribute to and define the architecture of data management solutions for both internal teams as well as external clients

·       Analyze multiple sources of structured and unstructured data to propose and design data architecture solutions for scalability, high availability, fault tolerance, analytics consumption, and elasticity.

·       Deliver results in an agile environment

Qualifications

We are looking for a Chief 'Big Data' Architect with a track record of success building scalable data solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will need 10 years of experience as a technology leader designing and developing data architecture solutions, including experience with the following:

·       Designing and developing scalable Big Data Warehouse solutions utilizing technologies and platforms such as Azure Synapse Analytics, DataBricks, Redshift, Spark, Hadoop, web services, etc. to support business-driven outcomes

·       Experience with NoSQL (CosmosDB/MongoDB)

·       Experience solving for complex data integrations across multiple systems

·       Experience working with Data Science teams to improve actionable data

·       Proficient in Python, Java, Scala, or C# and SQL (including Spark SQL)

·       Experience with Postgres and MySql

·       Excellent Organizational and Project Management skills.

·       Outstanding communication skills.

·       CI/CD

·       Prior experience with Elasticsearch would be preferred.

·       Experience with AWS technologies such as Aurora, Athena, EMR, Redshift, S3 a plus
