For more information, visit www.mckesson.com. Current Need We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in the Richmond, VA or Jacksonville, FL location. Position Description The Government Project Manager assists the government sales team in all aspects of the sales cycle that are unique to the government customer. Beginning with sourcing new opportunities and assisting the bid and pricing process this person will be in daily contact with sales and potential customers. Key Responsibilities: Lead Generation Research and identify state/local and federal bid opportunities for prospects and existing customers Obtain all associated documentation related to bid opportunity to assess viability Monthly reporting of lead generation Maintain website registrations with government agencies to ensure each are updated and active Pricing Support for Bids, Awards & Renewals Coordinate between Sales, Vendor Relations, Cross-Reference Team and Bid/Customer Reconcile X-Ref output to Pricing Format (UOM) including any specific product requirements Review price file to coordinate final bid pricing; Identify low/no margin pricing for sales leadership review/approval Coordinate with PSSP resources as needed for product compliance Obtain necessary documentation for compliance Prepare final customer-facing pricing documentation Projects Oversee business process improvements Analyze data to report on business objectives Other projects, as assigned, to support opportunities Minimum Requirements 2 years of related project management or project coordination experience. Critical Skills Experience supporting pricing and margin analysis. Experience coordinating or managing projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with government customers and government contracts. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Additional Skills McKesson Medical Surgical product knowledge. Manufacturer or distribution experience preferred. Excellent customer service. Excellent data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Salesforce, etc.). Adobe Acrobat, Workshare Compare, and Salesforce experience. Education 4-year degree or equivalent experience. HS Diploma required.
