Dermatology Medical Assistant

Growing Mobile Dermatology provider is looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant with a positive attitude who will join us in our goal to achieve the highest level of quality care. This position is currently hiring for a full time position with benefits. Competitive pay. Medical Assistant experience is preferred but not required. Position will cover communities in Volusia County.

Qualifications

Medical assistants must have knowledge of:

• Basic computer knowledge and Electronic Medical Records
• Medical Assistant willing and able to travel between our locations as needed
• High school diploma and Medical Assisting training
• Good verbal and communication skills
• The ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
• Must be able to pass extensive background check and drug screen
• Dependable Vehicle
• EMR Systems: 1 year

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures under supervision of medical provider
• Assist medical provider with patient exams.
• Assist with surgical procedures including skin checks, Excisions, Biopsy, and similar
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Give instructions to patients and educate patients as instructed by medical provider
• Ensure all related reports, labs and information are scanned and available in patient's chart prior to their appointment
• Keep stocked with adequate medical supplies and prepare sterilization as required
• Be familiar and compliant with OSHA, Blood Borne Pathogen standards and ----HIPPA privacy standards
• All other duties as assigned by clinical supervisor, practice manager, or other designee

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
