Assignment Start Date: 1/29/2024
13 weeks | Varied | 12-hour shift | 36 hours guaranteed per week

Experience:
Shift: 12-hour shifts, must be flexible. In addition to inpatient, may be assigned to help cover COVID testing clinics and/or Flu Immunization clinics as needed. Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings.
Float Requirement: In addition to inpatient, may be assigned to help cover COVID testing clinics and/or Flu Immunization clinics as needed. Travelers are occasionally expected to float to other departments in which they are qualified to work. This could include taking a patient load if experienced/competent in that setting or could be task-oriented such as answering call lights, phones, etc *
Orientation: on Mondays only - If your traveler misses the compliance deadline, they will be pushed to the following scheduled New Employee Orientation.

- Job: Registered Nurse for Med-Surg Unit (MSU).
- EXCELLENT Staffing Ratios: Non-Covid: typically 4:1, max 5:1. Covid patients: typically 2:1, max 3:1.
- Setting: 20-bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics
Experience:
- Three (3) years of med-surg experience, 1-year pediatric experience preferred.
- Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients.
- A valid and current RN license is required.
- American Heart Association BLS/BCLS and ACLS.
- PALS is preferred
