Salary: $185,000.00 to $235,000.00

Mountain Family Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center located on the Western Slope of Colorado. We are seeking a part-time to full-time Family Medicine physician to care for some of the most complex patients in our integrated care clinics alongside our highly qualified medical providers and members of our dental and behavioral health teams. Although prenatal experience is preferred, prenatal care is not a requirement of the position.
RESPONSIBILITIES(Listed In Descending Order Of Importance)
Comfortable practicing Family Medicine in a rural location
Familiarity with managing complex patients without timely access to some specialties, caring for the spectrum from newborns to geriatrics.
Prenatal care experience preferred with support from FP-OB providers in our Avon location.
Would be eligible for community privileges at two local hospitals (no admitting, no call)
Interest in serving underserved populations.

Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
Familiarity with the Patient-Centered Medical Home Model and Federally Qualified Health Centers
Integrated care experience or strong interest in this model is preferred as we practice with Dental and Behavioral Health providers in each clinic, as well as Pediatric, Psychiatric, and Internal Medicine providers.
Participation in Quality Improvement activities and bonus programs is required.
Nextgen EHR familiarity is a plus.

Experience/Education/Qualification
Experience: Experience preferred
Education Or Formal Training & Experience
Has completed an ACGME-accredited residency program in Family Medicine
Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration
Current and unrestricted license as MD/DO and DEA license.
Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
EMR Systems: Experience preferred
Background And Vaccination Requirements
Must pass a criminal background check.
Annual Flu vaccine required. Employer will provide.
Obtain PPD for tuberculosis (annually if provider). Employer will provide.
Obtain vaccine records for MMR, Varicella, T-DaP, Hep B, and COVID-19. Employer will provide.
Knowledge, Skill & Ability: (include materials and equipment directly used)
Work experience as a Facilities Coordinator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of facilities management operations.
Familiarity with office equipment and security systems.
Hands-on experience with facilities management software is a plus.
Understanding of safety regulations in offices.
Well-organized.
