Marketing Assistant
Overall scope of the position:
- Be a valued member of a corporate Marketing Team, develop, and implement marketing projects, attain goals, be a part of a team that makes a difference, and has fun doing it.
Specific responsibilities of the position include:
- Corporate Website & eStore: manage & update product listings, images & supporting documents. Support eStore related communications and activities.
- Graphics & photo prep: edit photos, brochures, documents, and graphics using Photoshop and InDesign.
- Trade shows: coordinate products, displays, logistics and travel arrangements for shows. Prepare pre-and post-show communications. Serve as liaison to show organizers.
- Sales/Distributor support: manage marketing material used by sales team and distributors including product data, images, written material, and banner ads.
- Written material: organize written content & data for white papers, tech bulletins, case studies, installation manuals, spec sheets, and web content such as press releases.
- Training material: assist with development of training material for Mobile Mark customers, distributors, and new employees. Multiple formats include PowerPoints, Videos, Webinars.
- Market/Sales research: help monitor wireless markets, competitor activities, and major players. Assist with data analysis and sales-lead research. Identify new industry resources and events.
- Social Media: help develop & post content and track online activity.
- Travel: occasional travel to industry events and trade shows.
- Other duties as assigned.
Personal requirements:
- A passion for Marketing with strong interest and or successes in brand marketing.
- Detail-oriented, careful, thorough, accurate.
- Strong organizational skills & follow through, Self-starter.
- Willing to move from task to task as the need arises.
- Able to work well with others.
- Strong business writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Education & experience:
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university.
- Detailed oriented, project leadership, projects may include website, advertising, and videos.
- Proficient with Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Interest and or experience with digital, social, and traditional marketing channels.
- Marketing Research aptitude.
- Interest and or experience in eCommerce website administration, a plus.
- Knowledge of Wireless Industry, a plus.
