What is a Revenue Cycle Coordinator?
The Revenue Cycle Coordinator/Orders Processor is responsible for ensuring the timely processing and signing of physician medical orders. The Utilization Specialist works closely with Operational Team in keeping with the Agency, State, and Federal compliance and billing guidelines.
What are the qualifications for a Revenue Cycle Coordinator?
- High school graduate required
- Minimum of one year home health experience is preferred but not required
- Proficient in computer
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers and other health care professionals
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work with deadlines and specific time frames in high volume environment
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent costumer and client service skills
What are the qualifications for a Revenue Cycle Coordinator?
- Tracks outgoing and incoming physician orders
- Assists Operational Team in meeting Agency, State, Federal deadlines for obtaining physician signature on medical orders
- Follows up with providers to insure return of delinquent medical orders
- Attends daily meeting with Director to review outstanding orders for end of episode
- Establishes positive relationships with physician and physician’s staff
- Communicates to appropriate Clinical Managers, Director of Clinical Services and Marketing Team regarding pending signed orders
- Maintains Kinnser Orders Manager Report current
- Supports Concierge Homecare Compliance program
- Other duties as assigned
