Pay Range: $125,000 to $150,000
Overview
Drive brand and marketing performance for our growing organization as Director of Marketing. In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside senior leadership, the sales team, marketing professionals and other departments. You will be responsible for shaping marketing strategy, aligning activities between Sales and Marketing, overseeing, and measuring marketing performance, and developing and implementing processes, tools, metrics, and initiatives required to deliver marketing goals and plans. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional and will have demonstrated experience employing effective marketing techniques. This role reports to the Senior Vice President.
Responsibilities
Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and budgets to align with the company’s business priorities
- Ensure the integrity of all marketing communications tools, creative, campaigns and initiatives
- Manage creative and messaging effectiveness across initiatives, including campaigns, digital, paid, PR and more
- Monitor market, industry and competitive trends, providing insights and recommendations to adapt marketing and business strategies accordingly
- Produce valuable content for the company’s marketing communications channels, key meetings and events, and internal communications
- Recruit, evaluate, and manage external agencies and vendors to support marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business goals
- Develop and implement metrics to measure brand awareness and sentiment, marketing performance and overall impact. Regularly report on key performance indicators to track the success of marketing initiatives
- Serve as the brand champion, ensuring that all marketing activities and communications consistently reflect and enhance the Model 1 brand identity
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with industry partners
- Serve as the company’s primary point of contact for marketing
- Lead and manage the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or Communications
- 10 years of overall marketing experience
- Previous marketing leadership with experience in performance marketing – including lead generation, retention, CRM.
- Experience with B2B automotive or transportation industry preferred
- Strong organizational and strategic planning skills
- Ability to coach and develop a team to drive program performance
- Flexibility and versatility in problem analysis and resolution requiring attention to detail
- Ability to communicate successfully and build deep relationships across functional lines
- Critical thinking skills focused on root cause and opportunities for improvement
- Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Leadership, and problem-solving skills, using creativity and innovation
