What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Coordinator position at Models & Tools?
Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Data Coordinator to manage and streamline all data related to customer jobs and quotes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Design, Program Management, Purchasing, Estimating, and Quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Download, secure, and manage data from various sources (FTP, websites, CDs, USBs) into company drives.
· Request and organize data through customer portals.
· Ensure all quote directories have accurate data and complete relevant reports in the system.
· Handle data requests, including moving, downloading, importing, uploading files, and extracting Bill of Materials.
· Update job directories with the latest tool designs and log all data transactions.
· Occasionally assist with pricing materials for quotes and coordinate with estimators and purchasing.
· Track and import relevant tags into spreadsheets and provide to Quality as needed.
· Provide backup assistance for Coordinators out of the office, including opening new quotes/jobs and handling shipping-related tasks.
· Maintain punctual attendance and work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
· Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Catia V5 is a plus.
· Excellent time management and organizational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
