What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Modena Ristorante Vinoteca?
Modena Ristorante is a premium casual Italian restaurant located in Marietta. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering phones and taking reservations
- Manage the reservations system to effectively accommodate a high volume of guests.
- Making sure that all guest facing information is always current in the reservations system.
- Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return
- Assists in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant
- Responsible to take the to-go orders via phone, check orders for accuracy and process the check for the customer
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience as a host or in the hospitality business preffered
- High school diploma.
- A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with servers, bussers, and other staff.
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Part-Time and Full-Time applicants encouraged to apply.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
