Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our team. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for various tasks related to the operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing products and materials. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, physically fit, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Expectations

• Receive incoming shipments, checking for accuracy and inspecting for damage.
• Unload products from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Verify quantities and quality of received items against invoices and packing slips.
• Utilize computer and computer software for tracking and parts inquiries.
• Utilize computer and other technologies for shipping and receiving procedures.
• Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Accurately pick and pack items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
• Prepare orders for shipping, including generating shipping labels and documentation.
• Load outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks using appropriate equipment and ensure shipments are properly secured and labeled for transport.
• Work closely with sales and customer service teams to prioritize and fulfill orders in a timely manner and assist with freight quotes or any additional questions.
• Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and responsible manner.

Qualifications and Competencies

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus;
• Proficient in ERP/computer software and Microsoft Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel);
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems is a plus;
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Location, Availability, and Hours:

This position will be based out of our warehouse in the Lawrenceburg, IN office. This position is full time, Monday- Friday, that may have daily, or weekend overtime as dictated by business necessity.
