Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will apply their technical knowledge and professional expertise to deliver Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) support to the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC). The candidate's work products will directly contribute to foreign capability assessments and national security decision making. This is a foundational position to grow a team of trusted, high-performing S&TI professionals consistent with MTSI's heritage of leadership, quality, and responsiveness in service delivery.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
- Conduct research and perform Modeling and Simulation (M&S) activities for a variety of foreign weaponsystems
- Develop predictive data models, perform quantitative analyses, and create visualizations for foreign weapon systems
- Perform all-source intelligence analyses
- Produce Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) compliant intelligence reports
- Analyze warfighter intelligence requirements and provide recommendations based on scientific and engineering, hardware and software information
- Review and edit reports and briefings
- Brief project and senior leaders on technical and non-technical subject matter, as appropriate
- Identify risks and formulate mitigation plans for project activities
- Attend project meetings and reviews, as required
- Collaborate with customers to identify needs and innovate solutions
- Identify opportunities to grow business and increase team size
Qualifications:
- Eight (8) or more years' engineering and science experience
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Experience with Python, MATLAB, C and/or other programming knowledge
- Strong communication skills, including technical writing and briefing
Education Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Image Science, Remote Sensing, or related STEM degree program
- Preferred MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Image Science, Remote Sensing, or related STEM degree program
Clearance Requirements:
- TS with SCI eligibility is required
- Active TS/SCI with current CI Poly clearance preferred
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
