We are professional, customer-centric and our goal is to find a full time bartender for our upscale casual, scratch European-Italian based kitchen. We feature small and boutique Italian wine varietals, as well as classic Italian and modern cocktails. The right fit will be a bartender who is passionate not only about serving craft drinks, but amazing service and food knowledge to guests. .

Hourly pay is $10 per hour. Tips and gratuities are based on salespersonship. A good salesperson is capable of making upwards of $20-$35 per hour with tips and gratuities.

Modesto is looking for a full-time professional bartender to join the team of our intimate Italian trattoria environment. The bartender will maintain current bar regulars while growing their own customer base. The successful candidate will have experience working in a high-volume restaurant, be familiar with classic drink recipes, creative and collaborative in modern and contemporary cocktails, and have decent knowledge of Italian varietal wines.

This person will intend on learning more about Italian vintners and culture, as well as have knowledge of Italian foods and successfully present excellent customer service. Modesto is seeking candidates with a positive attitude, the ability to multitask and to face any situation with a positive mental and problem solving attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Make drinks according to recipes or customer specifications.
• Maintain an inventory of liquor, wines, and beer.
• Closely monitor patrons in order to prevent over-serving. Must take online RASP training through ABC website.
• Ensure that alcohol is served in proper glassware and at the right temperature.
• Make sure that the bar is stocked with necessary supplies such as straws, napkins, shakers, strainers,garnishes, and glassware.
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Provide excellent service bar to fellow staff members.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including storage areas.
• Utilize knowledge of wines, cocktails and foods to upsell to guests.

After 90 days, full-time employees can opt-in to our supplemental insurance packages through AFLAC.
