Sr. Electrical Application Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Electrical Applications Engineer for a full-time direct hire opportunity in the Andover, MA area (Lombard, IL is another possible work location). Qualified candidates will have 10 years of experience in electrical engineering along with at least 5 years in Applications Engineering and analog design. The Engineer will provide technical support to strategic customers and channel partners and will also encompass lab related work and support for the worldwide team interfacing with the Product Development team.

Salary Range: $120-160K

Sr. Electrical Applications Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Liaise between Applications Team, FAEs, and Quality to support strategic customers globally.
• Work with Applications and Product Management teams to define new products in support of the Industrial BU.
• Daily support of the Technical Support Call Center and incoming email to assist customers on products and product use questions and issues.
• Work independently and with other members of the Marketing team on white papers, case studies and training material for the Distributors
• Work with the Marketing team on developing specific Broad Market/Industrial segments that align with our Advanced products and NPI.
• Assisting in a scheduled product training and technical seminars for Distributors
• Assisting in the designing, simulating, prototyping, testing, and optimizing external custom circuitry used in conjunction with products.
• Evaluating products in support of customer design activity.
• Troubleshooting and optimizing customer systems, which use Power Components.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BSEE degree or related
• 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience
• 5 years in Applications Engineering and analog design
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Good managerial and organization skills
