What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo position at Modita?
Our Expo acts as the translator between the Front and Back of House team. Expos plays a vital role as the restaurant’s last line of defense to ensure each dish is plated appropriately according to guests’ requests and to upholds the presentation standards set by the restaurant’s Executive Chef. Expeditors must work as a team with the Front and Back of House to execute a flawless service.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Maintain appropriate par levels of dishware, cutlery, garnishments, etc. to ensure successful service in his/her workstation.
· Communicate guests’ orders to the kitchen with high attention to modifications, substitutions, potential allergens, etc.
· Comply with and enforce health department standards related to food safety and sanitation
· Maintain a calm, positive, and professional attitude when communicating messages between Front and Back of House team.
