Safety Manager

Job Summary: The Safety Manager will develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. The Safety Manager works closely with the field and helps create OSHA compliant programs and prioritizes the safety of all employees. Responsibilities: Inspects sites to identify safety, health, and environmental risks Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures Develops and implements companywide safety program Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics Monitors compliance with safety procedures Ensures material safety data sheets are maintained and accessible Maintains records of recordables, near misses, and loss of time Reviews and updates Job Safety Analysis documentation Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities: Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and policies. Unrivaled presentation skills     Ability to utilize a variety of methods and media to facilitate training Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize. Ability to work with minimal supervision Assist in improving training content, development, and implementation based on experience and new employee feedback. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Interact in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of the company Willing to travel a minimum of 50%-75% of the time   Education and Experience: High school diploma required. Degree in related field preferred Car Wash experience preferred Five (5) years of safety management experience OSHA certification preferred   Physical Requirements: Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
