BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Manage planning, coordination, and preparation of maintenance activities and schedule utilizing both internal and external resources.
- Enter daily red tag work order information into SAP.
- Manage weekly SAP workorder list for Maintenance & Tool Room departments.
- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders each day.
- Contact Waste management and Lee Iron and metal for open-top switch outs.
- Collaborate with ABM for weekend cleanings.
- Collaborate with department managers, engineers, and operations staff on materials needed to support the manufacturing operation.
- Contact PSG for HVAC repairs. - Contact vendors (such as PSG & Mid-Atlantic to schedule service & repairs )
- Contact Mid-Atlantic Crane for hoist repairs.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- 3 years procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of maintenance scheduling and inventory system a plus, 2 years of SAP knowledge required.
- Understand technical requirements for Manufacturing facility (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Roof, machine PM, Janitorial, etc.)
- Strong communication skill - able to communicate technical information to internal skilled trades and 3rd party resources.
- Ability to effectively present technical information & requirements to vendors and other employees of the organization
