Swiss Programmer/Machinist – Direct Hire
Burnsville, MN
Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a Direct Hire Swiss Programmer/Machinist position with a company in Burnsville, MN. Interested candidates should have 5 years of Swiss CNC Programming experience, be proficient in Esprit (CAD/CAM) and be able to work independently.
Swiss Programmer/Machinist Job Description:
- Plan and schedule processes of machining to create/maintain inventory of medical implants and surgical instruments on Swiss Lathe – Citizen L32-XII.
- Maintain organization and documents for production records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices, FDA 21 CFR and ISO 13485 guidelines. (Programs, Tool Set-Up, etc.)
- Plan required materials, tooling and resources to maintain production schedule.
- Create process plan from engineering drawings, program, set-up and operate Swiss lathe with bar feeder.
- Program, Set-up and operate CNC Swiss Lathe and other equipment.
- Maintain inventory of tooling and work holding.
- Collect and analyze data to improve efficiency and discover system improvements.
- Manufacture parts to comply with established quality/inspection standards.
- Maintain safe operations of facility by administering safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering departments to drive process improvements.
- Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
- Complete records in conformance with Good Documentation Practices and QMS processes to record inspections, shipping and receiving.
- Interpret GD&T on engineering drawings.
- CNC Programming and Set-up of Swiss Lathe (Citizen L32 Type 12)
- Perform in process inspections.
Swiss Programmer/Machinist Job Requirements:
- 5 years of experience as a Lead in Swiss CNC Programming.
- 3 years of experience using Esprit.
- Associates degree in Machine Tool Programming [or work history equivalent].
- Ability to effectively communicate and work efficiently with peers.
- The ability to concentrate on a task over a period without being distracted.
- Esprit, SolidWorks, Google Suite and Microsoft Office / Excel proficiency.
The starting salary for the Swiss Programmer/Machinist position is $95K-$105K annually.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
