Mohawk Global is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to support our Business Development team. The Pricing Analyst must be highly analytical, detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and possess a genuine desire to promote departmental objectives through maintaining exceptional relationships with all internal and external partners.
Responsibilities/Tasks Include:

Generate rates and quotes for internal and external clients

Produce consistent formats used in quotes and proposals
-
Ensure that agent offices are advised of current rates so they can work on reducing costs

Maintain awarded business spreadsheet for visibility on maximizing profits
-
Follow-up with and track rate requests
-
Provide current rates for efficient billing
-
Provide support for Mohawk’s consolidation containers for all offices
-
Calculate Consol P&L and ensure multi-office split for Mohawk Global
-
Utilize specialized market knowledge to price accordingly

Communicate with agents, carriers, and other providers in a timely and professional manner

Assist with establishing best format for pricing proposals

Assess Customs requirements on DDP shipments to review for proper handling

Maintain Sharepoint site and Microsoft Teams resources as required

Support the development of the regional consolidation programs

Promote awareness of the Negotiated Rate Arrangement (NRA) program

Provide instruction and resources to Mohawk’s office operations teams for awarded business

Benchmark agents’ rates for competitiveness

Promote and uphold the Business Development team’s reputation relative to responsiveness and accessibility

Evaluate trade lanes and recommend best carriers to use for each lane

Help develop / evaluate contract tools

Prepare client and internal market updates and alerts

Assist in rate proposals for new business accounts RFQ /RFP

Maintain direct interaction with Sales, Operations, Agents, Vendors, and Clients
Desired Skills/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain Management, International Business or related discipline preferred
-
3 years of import/export experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Excellent organizational skills and time management

Excellent communication skills
-
Self-motivated
-
Ability to multitask and work independently
