Job Summary
Position Summary: Performs various duties in the Laundry including folding, spreading sheets, operating tumblers, feeding sheets, filling carts, sorting, and running washers.
Major Responsibilities:
- Performs various duties in laundry including folding, spreading sheets, feeding sheets, filling linen carts, delivers linen to floors.
- Will keep equipment and laundry area clean.
- Will follow all clean linen procedures including drying, ironing, folding and storing all laundry in linen closets and designated areas by designated persons.
- Any additional duties delegated from the Managers/Supervisors/Sr. Tech
- Will support Environmental Services as delegated
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills
Education Requirements
Education / Qualification:
- Some related experience in healthcare preferred.
