Mohegan Lake Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full or part-time Veterinary Technician to join our team in Lake Mohegan, NY.

Drs. Belvedere and Lavigne have significantly strengthened our capabilities, installing a digital x-ray, new surgical monitors, and a new ultrasound machine. We also recently completed a complete renovation of our exam rooms, reception area, and in-house pharmacy.

As a member of the clinical team, in addition to traditional vet tech duties, you will be actively involved in:
- Client education and communication
- Detailed electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Diagnostics
- Reviewing medical records and lab work
- Calculating doses for both oral and injectable medications
What we need:
- 1-2 years of veterinary technician experience
- LVT preferred (or license eligible)
- Anesthesia, surgical and dentistry experience
- Availability on alternate Saturdays
- Exceptional communication skills (including spelling and grammar) – strong and respectful written and verbal communication skills for both clients and staff
- Adaptability – remain flexible while maintaining a positive attitude
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail
- Good time management and efficiency with ability to prioritize
- Reliability – good judgment with ability to work and learn independently, responsibly, and ethically
- Resourceful problem-solving skills with active recall
- A dedication to providing excellent service for every client and patient
