Mommy’s Helper - Full Job Description
Location: Bowie, Maryland
Work Schedule / Guaranteed Hours: Tue / Wed / Thu - between 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm daily. (This role has the potential to become full-time.)
About the Family:
- Two boys, 6 and 7 years old
- Mom primarily works from home when she is not traveling for work
- Boys may be at dad’s house when mom is traveling and he may need the extra assistance while mom is away
Essential duties of the job include:
- Picking up the boys from the bus stop in the afternoon
- Giving the boys a snack after school and helping them homework
- Daily housekeeping
- Laundry ( organizing wardrobe)
- Bringing the car to the car wash and bringing it back to the house, sparkling clean and smelling like a pine forest.
- Shopping for the family (groceries, presents, and general items)
- Running errands (post office packages, printing, returns, etc.)
- Grocery shopping, meal prepping, and meal planning
- Cooking - this is a central part of this role and the family is seeking candidates who enjoy prepping fruits and veggies (for juicing) and ensuring the pantry and fridge are stocked with wholesome and healthy ingredients. Must understand healthy cooking and replacing ingredients, would like vegan meal options
- Home organization ( organize and declutter spaces)
- Monitor inbox and reply to personal emails
- Managing home inventory
- Personal trip and family event planning
- Maintain a Rolodex, update when necessary (send birthday and thank you cards)
- Can pick up shifts for additional babysitting
